  • Support a registered UK charity at the point of purchase, where promotional reward points from your purchase are allocated directly to the charity.

Note: Promotional reward points are allocated automatically once a qualifying purchase or full advert engagement is completed. Promotional reward points are non-monetary and are used solely to calculate approved discretionary promotional rewards paid in cash by Go Shopping Reward.

2. What kind of merchants does Go Shopping Reward cover?

Answer: Go Shopping Reward is available to all categories of merchants offering goods and services online and offline. Merchant categories can be found in the Merchant Directory using the “Search” button.

3. How do I locate a merchant offering Go Shopping Reward?

Answer: You can browse or search by location, category, or business name on the platform. Each merchant profile displays contact details and available promotional reward information.

4. Can I register more than one mobile number?

Answer: Yes, provided the number belongs to you. Verification will occur within 7 days. If verification fails, the number will be deleted and associated promotional reward points will be lost.

5. How soon can I start using my reward points?

Answer: You can start accumulating immediately. Once you reach the minimum threshold, you may submit a reward request. Approved promotional rewards are paid in cash by Go Shopping Reward.

6. Where does Go Shopping Reward get the cash to pay rewards?

Answer: Rewards are funded by promotional and advertising fees paid by merchants and advertisers. Promotional rewards are marketing incentives only and do not constitute wages, salary, compensation, or payment for labour. Promotional reward points are non-monetary.

7. Can I transfer my reward points to another user?

Answer: No. Promotional reward points are non-transferable and can only be used within your own account. If you wish to support a UK charity, this must be done at the point of purchase.

8. Can my family use one account?

Answer: Yes. Accounts may be shared within households. However, the registered individual remains solely responsible for the account and reward requests.

9. Can organisations or groups register as shoppers?

Answer: No. Shopper accounts are for individuals only. Organisations should register as merchants or charities.

10. Do my reward points expire?

Answer: Points do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing. Inactive or non-compliant accounts may have points removed.

11. When is an account considered inactive?

Answer: An account may be considered inactive if there is no login or reward-related activity for 12 consecutive months.

12. Is there a limit to how many reward points I can keep?

Answer: No. There is no maximum limit. You may accumulate points and submit a reward request once you reach the minimum threshold.

13. Can I advertise on Go Shopping Reward?

Answer: Yes. Anyone can advertise by completing the advert form, uploading content, selecting a target audience, and choosing reward allocation. All adverts are reviewed before approval.


For Merchants

1. How do I register as a merchant?

Answer: Register for free on the platform. Once registered, you can purchase promotional reward points and allocate them to customers. Online merchants may integrate using the API.

2. How do I allocate promotional reward points?

Answer: After completing a sale, enter the purchase value and customer’s registration number in your dashboard. Online allocations are automatic once checkout is completed.

3. What reward percentage can I offer?

Answer: Merchants may choose a promotional reward rate between 0.25% and 5% per transaction.

4. Do I need special hardware or POS integration?

Answer: No. Go Shopping Reward operates independently of your POS system.

5. Do unused promotional reward points expire?

Answer: Each purchase starts a 30-day promotional period. Unused points are carried forward into the next promotional period but are non-refundable.

6. Must I buy promotional reward points every 30 days?

Answer: No. There is no subscription or mandatory monthly spend. You may top up as needed.

7. How do I top up promotional reward points?

Answer: Purchase additional promotional reward points from your dashboard at any time.

8. What happens if a customer returns a purchase?

Answer: Go Shopping Reward reserves the right to adjust or remove associated promotional reward points if a transaction is refunded or reversed.

9. Can I promote my business?

Answer: Yes. Merchants may advertise directly on the platform and choose reward incentives for engagement.

10. What visibility do I get as a merchant?

Answer: Your business appears in the Merchant Directory and can be discovered by location or category.


For Charities

1. How does my charity receive rewards?

Answer: Supporters provide your registered Go Shopping Reward number at checkout. Points are allocated directly to your charity profile.

2. Do supporters pay extra to support us?

Answer: No. They simply provide your registered number at checkout.

3. Do charities need to buy reward points?

Answer: No. Registration is free and charities do not purchase reward points.

4. How often can we submit reward requests?

Answer: Each time your account reaches the minimum threshold of 1,000 points.

5. Can supporters transfer points later?

Answer: No. Points must be allocated at the point of purchase.

6. What visibility does our charity get?

Answer: Registered charities appear in the directory and can be discovered by supporters.


For Advertisers

1. Who can advertise?

Answer: Anyone targeting a UK audience, including businesses, brands, creatives, musicians, community groups, and organisations.

2. How do I create a campaign?

Answer: Register, complete the advert form, upload your advert, select targeting preferences, and submit for review.

3. What happens after approval?

Answer: After payment, your advert is activated and distributed to your selected audience.

4. Are viewers being paid?

Answer: No. Promotional rewards are marketing incentives and not wages or compensation.

5. Can I choose how many reward points viewers receive?

Answer: Yes, subject to minimum reward requirements per advert duration.

6. What advert lengths are supported?

Answer: Adverts range from 15 seconds to 5 minutes.
